Your visit to New Forest Cider is a chance to explore one of the New Forest’s most enchanting villages. Burley is steeped in old-world charm, a place where time seems to slow down, and ponies and cattle roam freely right through the village centre.
Folklore and Charm
Burley is famous for its intriguing connections to witchcraft and smuggling. In the 1950s, the village was home to a well-known ‘white witch,’ Sybil Leek, and today, this mystical heritage lives on in the quaint, quirky gift shops like A Coven of Witches. Keep an eye out for the historic Queen’s Head pub, a former haunt of local smugglers.
Outdoor Adventure
Burley is the perfect base for exploring the ancient woodlands and heathlands of the National Park. You can hire bikes and set off on traffic-free cycle trails, enjoy scenic Burley Wagon Rides through the forest, or take a New Forest Deer Safari to spot the local wildlife.

By Car: Easy access from the A31 and A35 roads. The village has a large public car park.
By Rail: The nearest mainline train stations are Brockenhurst or New Milton. Taxis or local bus services can complete your journey from there.
On Foot/Bike: We are located directly on a network of popular cycling and walking routes, making us a perfect pitstop.
